Description
tinyPOPS – A cool little lo-fi table-top box loosely based on the Korg Mini Pops rhythm machines from the late 1960’s and might be best known for its use on Jean-Michel Jarre’s popular 1977 ‘Oxygene’ album.
tinyPOPS contains eight classic digital samples with a unique crunchy vibe that will entertain and inspire: Guiro, Bongo, Bass, Claves, Cowbell (of course), Maracas, Cymbal, and Quijada.
Set your tempo, flip the Run switch and select from one of 16 rhythm patterns: Hard Rock, Disco, Reggae, Rock, Samba, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Swing, Bossa Nova, Beguine, SynthPop. Boogie. Waltz, Jazz Rock, Slow Rock, Oxygene. Then creatively modify the beats by turning on and off individual sounds.
Interface your tinyPOPS with your synths, sequencers and other equipment using the convenient CLOCK and DOWNBEAT gate outputs.
tinyPOPS is powered by a simple regulated 8 to 18 VDC power pack (not included).
tinyPOPS is also available in kit form and as a preprogrammed 28 pin DIP microprocessor.
